What is Upneeq? (Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride ophthalmic solution 0.1%)
Upneeq is the first FDA-approved 1x daily prescription eyedrops proven to treat acquired blepharoptosis (also known as low-lying lids). Upneeq improves droopy eyelids that develop over time. Effects may be seen in as little as 15 minutes after administration and lasts up to 8 hours. Many people have low-lying eyelids or droopy eyes and may not be aware of it.
Who is a good candidate for Upneeq?
-Anyone with low-lying lids that is not pregnant, without uncontrolled hypertension, or eye disorders.
How to Use Upneeq
-Instill one drop into one or both eyes once daily. If you use other eye drops or have contact lenses, wait 15 minutes after administering Upneeq.
